Ten Thousand a girl initiative to Government Girls Secondary School, Dutse, Abuja

In a bid to address menstrual hygiene challenges faced by adolescent girls, our NGO embarked on a meaningful journey to Government Secondary School Dutse. Our mission was clear – to empower young girls with the resources they need to manage their menstrual health confidently and without hindrance. The visit was more than a distribution drive; it was a step towards breaking taboos, fostering education, and empowering the next generation of women.

Breaking Taboos and Fostering Education:
Menstrual hygiene is an essential aspect of a girl's life, yet it remains shrouded in stigma and silence in many communities. Our visit aimed to break these taboos by initiating open conversations about menstrual health. By distributing sanitary pads, we not only provided a practical solution but also encouraged the girls to embrace their bodies with confidence and without shame.
